Dental emergencies can happen unexpectedly, and at Midtown Smiles Dental Care, we are here to provide the care you need. Whether you’re dealing with severe pain or a sudden dental issue, we will adjust our schedule to accommodate you.

Payment Policy

We require full payment for treatment at each appointment as we do not accept assignment of insurance. However, we will assist you in receiving timely
reimbursements from your insurance provider. Most claims submitted electronically are reimbursed within two weeks.

For your convenience, we can predetermine your insurance coverage before starting any treatment.

Understanding Insurance

Our relationship is with you—not your insurance company. All treatment recommendations are made with your oral health as our top priority, not based on
insurance limitations. While insurance is a helpful benefit, it should not dictate your care. We’re here to help you understand and make the best use of your insurance plan.

Fees and Payment Options

Our fees follow the current Ontario Dental Association’s suggested fee guide. We accept:

For cosmetic, implant, or complex procedures, we offer interest-free payment plans to accommodate your financial needs. Financial arrangements can also be discussed with our staff for specific situations.

Appointment Policies

Cancellations

Effective time management is key to keeping dentistry accessible and affordable. If you need to cancel an appointment, we require at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer the time to someone in need of treatment. A $75 cancellation fee will be charged for inadequate notice.

Confirming Appointments

As a courtesy, we will remind you of your appointment 24 hours in advance. If we are unable to reach you, we will still expect you to attend your scheduled appointment as planned.
